Love is like a plant
Love is like a flower, you'll grow
Then you’d die then your seeds will stumble
Then start a new cycle.
But sometimes you'll get picked
Your petals will be pulled.
Sometimes the weeds will attack you.
And sometimes you can't have seeds.
Love is also like a tree
It can be brittle and weak On the first years of its life
But as it goes on
It'll get layers of years and memories
Though sometimes you'll get chopped down
Maybe a nest will be built
Maybe a hole will be carved
for the creatures of the night.
Love is dying
Love is growing
Love is seeds
Love is layers
Love is like a flower
Love is like a tree
Love is like a plant.
