‘Perfect even’
Perfect???
Why are you surprised?
That’s the only thing you've ever been told anyway
Why do you crave attention?
Yet you hate it
What makes you think
It’s just a piece of trash?
Yet you love it
Why do you disparage
What makes you happy?
Yet you’ll piece the scraps back together
How many times
Can a piece of glass 
Be held and put down
Before it breaks
Don’t let go
Hold it tight
Maybe then
It will get better
Things will get better
